Baptism

Baptism is one of two sacraments celebrated by the Lutheran Church. Parents meet with Pastor to discuss this important event in a child's faith development where the child becomes a part of the community of faith, receives the promise of eternal life and the forgiveness of sins. Baptisms will be celebrated in worship on dates agreed upon by parents & sponsors.

Cradle Roll - Infants up to Age 3

Once a child is born, they are added to our Cradle Roll. Parents will regularly receive materials that include activities they can do with their child as well as parent devotions.

Baptism Birthdays - 1 & 2 Year Olds

The children and parents will learn to celebrate the gift of baptism during the Baptism Birthday Milestone Learning Event. The event will provide ways to recognize and acknowledge the baptismal anniversaries of the children at home. We will focus on the significance of baptism as an event that should be remembered as much as birthdays and other important days. On a designated Sunday we will celebrate, as a congregation, the Baptism Birthdays (anniversaries) of our youngest members during our worship service.
