The Bible - 1st Grade

We will continue the long-standing tradition in this congregation of putting the Word into the hands of our young people. The parents of new students to our 1st - 3rd Grade Sunday School class will be given Bibles to present to their children during worship. The Bible Milestone Learning Event will be the following two Sundays during the Sunday School time. The first grade students, their parents and their classmates will spend two sessions getting to know their bibles.

Friendship - 1st, 2nd & 2rd Grade

To further their growth in faith, children need to learn that they are God's children and a valued part of the congregation community. The Friendship Milestone Event takes place on a Sunday. During this event the students and their parents will explore being a part of a larger faith "family," developing relationships with other members of this community and the importance of calling others to join the community of Christ.
