Resurrection Lutheran's Blog
A basic blog to talk about Resurrection Lutheran Activities.
I missed Digging & Dining

I drove past church last night around 6:30 on my way to a meeting and saw Pastor Mary and some of our Reformation partners out playing in the garden. Ok, they actually looked like they were working pretty hard. I wish I could have been with them.

Last week I went to the first Wednesday night Digging & Dining. I, of course, missed the digging part, but enjoyed the dining with Raven, Breon, Evoney and Dennis, then the worship. (Breon ate 6 hot dogs. I wonder if he survived through the night!?!)

I loved the informal gathering and the sense of learning during the worship. It was also pretty cool to hear the story of John the Baptist through the eyes of other people. The story seems so old to me, having gone to parochial school my entire education, but I heard new things that night.

I don't think I'll be able to get back to a Digging & Dining night until near the end of July, but I'm looking forward to that. Maybe I'll see you then? --Jen Olski
